Our challenge

Sacred Heart Academy is a Catholic, co-educational institution devoted to spreading the Gospel in an environment of academic excellence. As a primary form of evangelization for the parish, Sacred Heart of Jesus parishioners support the school through their Sunday contributions. School administrators recognize their duty to appropriately steward parish money and use our funds efficiently. The cost to educate a student at the Academy is $9,872 but parishioners pay the reduced rate of $7,217.

Still, there are more needs than funds and we are compelled to raise money for necessities such as new textbook series, computers and Chromebooks, and co-curricular experiences that enhance learning. Our most pressing need, however, is for scholarships. Parish families receive a discount on tuition, but often need more help. The parish goal is to make affordable a Catholic education for every parish child who wants it.
