The Wee Saints program at Sacred Heart Academy is dedicated to the development of the whole child – intellectually, socially, emotionally, physically, and spiritually – in a positive and nuturing Christ-centered learning environment. Children develop and grow in their love of God.
designed for children to be involved in group and independent activities that promote learning through play. Monthly themes provide enriched programs for exploration in each subject area. Our daily schedule offers a balance of:
- Active and quiet play time
- Group and individual activities
- Child-centered tasks that foster free choice and promote creativity.
Pre-K 3: Our three-year old program encourages the social and emotional growth of this wonderful age group. Teachers create lessons that balance learning and play. Engaging and enjoyable activities promote socialization and fine and gross motor skills.
Pre-K 4: Four-year old learning is promoted through cooperative learning and exploration with a focus on children’s social and emotional growth. With a goal of Kindergarten readiness, students develop self help and problem solving skills that foster individualization and independence.

Parents can be confident that youngsters receive the best academic and personal care. We are licensed by the State of Virginia and we have received a U.S. Department of Education National Blue Ribbon Award of Excellence. All teachers are qualified and credentialed, and administrators are licensed and certified with Master’s degrees in Education.
